Partnership in a project, executed by the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, entitled: “Development of an initial tool for improved collection of data for the immigration processes and for measurement and assessment of the integration of immigrants into Bulgarian society”

Specific activities on the execution of the project:

Activity 1. Project start
Activity 2. Development of an initial tool for improved collection of data for the immigration processes and for measurement and assessment of the integration of immigrants into Bulgarian society;
Activity 3. Measurement and assessment of the quality and quantity parameters of immigration of the degree of economical and social integration of immigrants in Bulgarian society;
Activity 4. Creation of an informational base with current data for economy immigration;
Activity 5. Review and assessment of the current political and strategic documents and the actualization of activities and measurements for migration and interaction by the method of brain-attacks and in relation with the established tendency for development of migration processes
Activity 6. Preparation of an analysis of the current national policies and documents, defining the fields for correction of measurements, related with Bulgaria’s migration policy and with activities which encourage integration;
Activity 7. Popularizing the project’s activities via a series of informational seminars in the six planning regions and a concluding conference for presenting the results of the project’s execution;
Activity 8. Activities for insuring information and publicity.

Achieved results:

1. Development of a methodology of a tool for improved collection of data for the immigration processes and for measurement and assessment of the integration of immigrants into Bulgarian society

3. Creation of an informational base with current data for economy immigration
4. Analysis of the content of newspaper articles in the last five years as a tool for assessment of social integration of immigrants in Bulgaria
5. Office research of documents on the subject of integration in Bulgaria for the last five years for discovering the challenges before the immigration of refugees in the country;
6. Execution of a self filling-in amongst 150 refugees in the country;
7. Execution of a nation-wide survey of the society mindset and tolerance of the population towards the economic refugees – 1200 responses;
8. Execution of a research, conducted by the method of a depth interview amongst 30 representatives of employers;
9. Execution of a research, conducted by the method of a depth interview amongst 30 representatives of state administration and state bodies, gathering information for economical immigrants;
10. Execution of a research, conducted by the method of situation description in 30 Bulgaria enterprises;
11. An analysis report of quantity and quality parameters and the degree of integration of economic refugees in Bulgarian society;
12. A summarizing document, hich identifies thematic misses and problematic fields in the economic and political perspective of the currently acting strategic documents;
13. Report: Analysis of the current national policies and documents, definition of the areas for correction of measurements, related to Bulgarian migration policy and with actions, directed towards encouraging integration;
14. Execution of a round table with interested parties for the optimal set of the tool for improved collection of data for the immigration processes and for measurement and assessment of the integration of immigrants into Bulgarian society – one executed;
15. Organizing a concluding conference for presenting the results of the project;
16. Execution of a discussion by the method of “brain-attack” on the following subject – Corporal social responsibility as an instrument for accelerating the integrational processes and priority models for their development;
17. Execution of a discussion by the method of “brain-attack” on the following subject – Document models and coordinating mechanisms for achieving an understanding between the interested parties;
18. Organizing informational seminars for presenting the results of the project’s execution – one in each planning region;
19. Execution of a discussion by the method of “brain-attack” on the following subject – The vision of Bulgaria 2020, the re-construction of Bulgarian economy and integration policies in the labor market.
