Project goals:

Main goal(goals):

Improving the integration of refugees with special needs via insuring a tool for the employees of the state administration, the local administrative bodies and non-government organizations, which will increase their professional competence while working with refugees with special needs.

Specific goals:

1. Achievement of a good governance of the project and effective and professional execution of the activities for achieving the set goals.
2. Creating a tool which will help the work of the employees of the state administration, the local administrative bodies and non-government organizations, related with refugees with special needs.
3. Insurance of a manual, which will be used when working with refugees with special needs.
4. Acquainting the community and the interested parties with the activities in the project and its goals as well as the achieved results.

Specific activities on the execution of the project:

Activity 1: Forming a project team
Activity 2: Creating a guidance book for the work of the employees of the state administration, the local administrative bodies and non-government organizations with refugees with special needs.
Activity 3: Issuance of the guidance book.
Activity 4: Means for information and publicity.
Target group description
– citizens of third countries or stateless persons, who are given the status of the Geneva convention and who are allowed to reside as refugees in one of the member-states;
– citizens of third countries or stateless persons, who are under some form of subsidiary guardianship by the meaning of Directive 2004/83/EEC
– citizens of third countries or stateless persons, who are under temporary guidance by the meaning of Directive 2001/55/EEC;
– citizens of third countries or stateless persons, who are re-settling or are being re-settled in a member-state.

Achieved results:

Development and issuance of a guidance book for the work of the employees of the state administration, the local administrative bodies and non-government organizations with refugees with special needs.
